The whole Hoy Team, our Head Girl Avril as well as Steffi and myself are very sad to be saying „Good Bye“ to Molly Peters today.

Molly has been a student at Somerby Stables and has been based with us with her horse “The Real McCoy” for nearly 2 years – but the time has come for Molly to return home to her family and friends in Australia.

I very much enjoy my annual trip to Haras du Pin, the most beautiful French National Stud in Normandy, hosting a wonderful and welcoming event "Le Grand Complet" staging classes from 1* through to 3*.

Have a look at this great article produced by THE HANNOVERIAN, the official Magazine of the German Hannoverian breeding society.

I am very proud of my dear friends and wonderful horses Algebra, Cheeky Calimbo, Rutherglen and The Blue Frontier on their individual campaigns and Olympic qualification achieved. They all showed good form – with wins and placings as well as their individual highs and lows. I can´t thank their owners John Glenn & Julia McLean, Christiane Classen, Barbara Keller and The Rutherglen Syndicate enough for their continuous support, encouragement and letting me ride their wonderful horses.

This could be your chance of a lifetime to learn at a top sporthorse yard and work towards achieving your own goals - we are offering a working pupil position to join our fantastic team at Somerby Stables.

We are again sitting on packed bags – this time to depart to Tattersalls Horse Trials – so it´s time for an update on our last weekend at Houghton Hall Horse Trials.

We are about to depart to Houghton Hall International Horse Trials but I of course can´t leave without giving you an update on our last weekend at Rockingham Castle International Horse Trials!
