Another great weekend at Montelibretti - one of the most beautiful venues in Italy! Since competing there first in 2012 the organisers have gone through a lot of effort and are continuely working on upgrading their facilities, a truely lovely event!

Algebra was the star of the weekend - winning the CCI3* on his dressage score of 45,6. I am so pleased with his performance in all three phases - he just impressed and was a class act! He might be a small horse but truely has got a very big heart!

Cheeky Calimbo led the dressage but  although he jumped really well he was unfortunately not able to retain the lead on the cross country which led to a final 9th place for him in the CCI3* - still a great result for this most wonderful horse!

Our latest addition to the Hoy Team - The Blue Frontier - was the most unlucky of the weekend. He did very well in the dressage and started out great on the cross country - but unfortunately hit a front leg on a fence in the last third of the course which led to us not being able to complete.

Nevertheless - the most important thing is he did not hurt himself and is perfectly fine and healthy - and we will be competing again in the next weeks. He is such a pleasure to ride and I am so lucky to have him with me - I can´t wait for our next outing.

Right To Play´s Jack Sparrow proved himself at International level to finish 6th in his first CCI1* - and I am absolutely thrilled with the performance and attitude of this wonderful young horse. He was an absolute star in all three phases and I am very much looking forward to the future ahead of us.
